Hey everyone!
My name is Brieane but most of my friends call me Brie. I am 22 years old and a Chico local, born and raised right here. After graduating from Pleasant Valley High School in 2003, I moved to Santa Barbara and attended Santa Barbara City College for a year. I had a great time there but ended moving back to Chico to finish junior college. I had originally planned on going to any school other than Chico State. So, after I finished up at Butte college I packed up my things and moved to Los Angeles to attend Cal State University Northridge. I lived in Calabasas with my best friend all summer but as soon as school started I realized how much I hated driving in traffic to get to class and how much I disliked the commuter school. I moved back to Chico once again. I then realized how lucky I am to live in a college town where I can walk across the street to get to class. I also love being close to my family and friends.
As much as I do love Chico, it still gets old after 22 years. I graduate this May and though I do appreciate all that Chico has to offer, I am planning on moving to San Francisco! What can I say...I like trying new things and new places. Plus, there are so many opportunities in the city. I am graduating with pending units, so I will be taking my last few classes at San Francisco State. I also plan on getting an internship that could maybe lead to a full time job after I am completely done with school. I am a marketing major so I hope to do something in marketing and/or advertising.
Overall I am a fun person but I believe in finding a good balance of work and play. I love to hang out with my friends and go out on weekends, but I also love school and work really hard to maintain a good G.P.A. I am currently taking 18 units and working 3 days a week...people think I am crazy but it is really not so bad (I did it last semester and survived). I work at a sports-bar called the End Zone and I really enjoy it. It can be stressful at times but it is usually a pretty laid back and fun atmosphere. Other than being super busy with work and school I really just like to kick back and hang out with family and friends. I love movies, good food, the outdoors, shopping, listening to music, and traveling. I am a free-spirit and enjoy doing anything spontaneous. I am pretty much your typical college girl...busy is happy and happy I am! I look forward to what my future holds here in my early to mid-twenties!

That is pretty close to what I did Brieane. But you are a lot smarter in staying in CA. Once you move out of state the tuition can be horendous! Congrats on finally graduating in May!

I feel like we have to know each other. I am originally from Calabasas and almost went to CSUN....the traffic down there is obnoxious. I am 23 and just graduated from UCSB, well at least i thought i did until received a letter saying that i had two more classes to take...hence Chico State. I moved here because i am going to law school next year and taking a year off and was planning on working full time (my roomate owns a circulation company, so i work for the Enterprise Record and other newspapers.) Anyway i just thought it was interesting...
